FRED BLOCK
President

Fred started his career at United Plating Works. He started as an entry level Non-Destructive Inspector in 1989. In 1991, he became Quality Manager, and then Vice President and Treasurer in 1998. He assumed the role of President in 2003. During his tenure, he has had hands-on experience in every aspect of the company, which has given Fred an intimate knowledge of UPW and a tremendous pride in its operation.

JACKIE DODGIN
Vice-President /
Production Manager

As Production Manager, Jackie is responsible for the day to day operation of United Plating Works. Prior to becoming the Production Manager, Jackie worked at United Plating Works, Inc. on the plating lines, as a machinist and in the Inspection Department. Jackie began his employment at UPW in 1999 and assumed Production Manager in 2008.

HEATHER DODGIN
Vice President/
Quality Control Manager

As Quality Control Manager, Heather establishes and maintains United Plating Work’s Quality Program. She is UPW’s principle liaison with our customer and government Quality Departments. Heather is responsible for assuring that UPW meets customer requirements, no matter the complexity of the process, through diligent observation and reliable procedures. Her education and experience includes SAE Professional Development Program-Fundamentals of Statistical Process Control and QMS Internal Auditor certified by IRCA. Heather began her career with UPW in 1999.

ELLEN BLOCKSecretary/Treasurer

Ellen is our Director of Human Resources. She is in charge of our employees well being. Before coming to UPW she had experience in the medical field and public education. Her past experience leaves her uniquely qualified in her role at UPW.
